A family dream, a refuge in nature

Quintinha da Cachadinha was born from a family dream, which began to take shape in 2017 through the hands of Maria and Valentim. They first built the main house - Casa Pedra - as a weekend getaway for themselves and their daughters, Lara and Maria. A space to be together, surrounded by nature, in peace and away from the rush of daily life.

Over time, they realized that this piece of land held something special: a welcoming place, deeply connected to nature, perfect for those seeking rest, calm, and a slower pace.

Over five years, with love, dedication and a lot of hard work, they restored the land and rebuilt three houses that now welcome guests: Casa da Paz, Casa do Sol and Casa da Lua. Each house was designed to offer comfort, serenity and the unique feeling of being at home - even when away.

The adaptation to tourism was done with special care to detail: simple, rustic-inspired décor in harmony with modern comfort, creating an authentic and inviting atmosphere.

The outdoor spaces were thoughtfully created to offer moments of leisure and rest - with swings and benches to sit and enjoy the view, and even a barbecue for family meals.

The saltwater heated pool, surrounded by greenery and silence, invites you to relax, even on cooler days. The privileged sunlight, clean mountain air, birdsong and open views make Quintinha da Cachadinha a true haven.

We envisioned a home built with love - and that is what we offer to all who visit us. Whether it?s a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or a relaxing break with friends (pets are welcome too!), everything was designed for you to enjoy a meaningful experience.
